Tareq Alotaiba is a fellow in the Middle East Initiative at Harvard University’s Belfer Center. Alotaiba served for 12 years in the United Arab Emirates government across economic policy, foreign affairs, and national security. He holds a master’s in security studies from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in politics, philosophy, and economics from the University of British Columbia. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
