The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington and Hunna Art, a contemporary art gallery that supports female artists from and based in the Gulf, are pleased to host a discussion exploring the role of environment, landscape, and earthen material in art making in the Gulf. The webinar will feature artists from Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, who will discuss how the natural environment and land shape their creative practices, from concept to material.  

The discussion will be introduced by Océane Sailly, founder of Hunna Art, and moderated by AGSIW Senior Resident Scholar Kristin Smith Diwan.
