Marsin Alshamary

Assistant Professor of Political Science, Boston College

Marsin Alshamary is an assistant professor of political science at Boston College. She is also a faculty affiliate with the Middle East Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy School and a nonresident fellow at the Brookings Institution. Her research focuses on religious institutions, civil society, and protest movements in Iraq. She holds a PhD in political science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
