Naif Alghaith

Naif Alghaith has been the chief economist at Riyadh Bank since November 2021. Prior to this, he led the Financial Track at the Saudi G20 from 2019-21 and held key positions at the Saudi Central Bank, including: director of monetary policy and financial stability from 2014-21 and economic specialist from 2002-13. He advised the World Bank Group from 2016-19 and taught economics at Swansea University from 2008-12. Alghaith holds a PhD in financial economics from Swansea University (2012), a master’s from the University at Buffalo (2007), and a bachelor’s in accounting from King Saud University (2002).
