About the event
In partnership with the University of Haifa
“International and Regional Involvement in the Middle East” is a bimonthly workshop series launched in September 2021, co-hosted by AGSIW and the University of Haifa.
Since the Arab Spring uprisings, Middle Eastern countries have been open to various intervening forces. Global powers and aspiring regional hegemons are shaping, and reshaping, axes and networks. This workshop series maps these changing networks in the post-Arab Spring Middle East, analyzing the motives and influences of these powers, including the United States, China, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
This workshop series is convened by invitation only. If you are interested in participating, please contact Raymond Karam, chief program and development officer: raymond.karam@agsiw.org.
