Loubna Madani is a political scientist specializing in Gulf affairs, United Arab Emirates foreign policy, and regional security. She holds a PhD in political science and international relations from Clermont Auvergne University, where her research examined the UAE’s foreign policy activism since 2011. Her work focuses on Gulf security, alliance dynamics, strategic autonomy, regional power competition, and the political economy of diversification. She has published in the Asian Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies and presented work at the Gulf Research Meeting at the University of Cambridge. She is currently based in Abu Dhabi.
