Winnie Zheng is the assistant director of the Iraq Program at the Arab Gulf States Institute. Prior to joining AGSI, she worked as a program assistant at the Atlantic Council, supporting the Transatlantic Project, Iraq Initiative, and Syria Project. She has also held internships with the Atlantic Council, International Rescue Committee, and Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan. Zheng received her BA from the George Washington University, where she majored in international affairs and minored in Arabic.
