Upcoming Event

After the Cease-Fire: The Regional Component of the Future of Gaza

On November 4, AGSI and ROPES will co-host a discussion about regional dynamics after the recent Israel-Hamas cease-fire.

Date

Nov 4, 2025

Time

12:00pm - 1:00pm

About the event

The Gulf states and other Arab countries, including Egypt, played a key role in brokering the recent Israel-Hamas cease-fire. And under the terms of President Donald J. Trump’s 20-point peace plan, they stand to play an even greater role in the reconstruction, security, and governance of postwar Gaza. But lingering questions about regional postwar dynamics abound, from the composition of the proposed “International Stabilization Force” and “Board of Peace” to the prospects for a “credible pathway to Palestinian statehood” and a potential expansion of the Abraham Accords.
