
Mansour Rageh
Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Yemen
Mansour Rageh serves as the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, where he oversees banking supervision and policy development. Since joining the central bank in 2003, he has held various managerial and policy positions, including manager for Islamic and specialized banking onsite. Rageh represents the central bank internationally as a member of the Digital Financial Services Working Group at the Alliance for Financial Inclusion. Previously, Rageh was the chief economist at the Sana’a Center for Strategic Studies. He played a key role in drafting Yemen’s microfinance and mobile banking policies and has consulted for numerous organizations, including the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation and Yemen’s Social Development Fund. He holds a master’s in policy economics from the Center for Development Economics at Williams College and a Bachelor of Science in banking and finance from Ibb University, Yemen.
