A Conversation With H.E. Sarah Al Amiri, UAE Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology

H.E. Sarah Al Amiri, the United Arab Emirates’ minister of state for public education and advanced technology, discussed the UAE’s space program, including its mission to Mars, future missions, and upcoming maiden long-duration astronaut mission. Al Amiri discussed the development of the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields in the UAE and the country’s adoption of advanced technologies and the knowledge economy. The discussion was moderated by Ambassador Douglas A. Silliman, AGSIW’s president.
