Mohammad AlMutairi is a former research associate at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington. His work focuses on analyzing the Gulf region culturally, politically, and socially. His research interests include the causes of radicalization among Muslim youth populations and how youth movements in the Gulf represent collective sentiments shared across the region.

AlMutairi interned at the Gulf International Forum and the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations. He graduated from New York University with an MA in international relations in 2023 and Florida International University with a BA in political science and government in 2021. He is fluent in Arabic and English.
