Arabian Sights Film Festival: What’s Next for Arab Cinema?

We are witnessing a renaissance of Arab cinema with a much wider range of sophisticated films tackling a variety of topics and receiving much critical acclaim. There is also a rising number of talented young Arab filmmakers and a growing international audience appreciating these works. Raymond Karam, director of Program Outreach and Communication at AGSIW, will join a panel of guest film directors and Arab film experts to discuss the latest developments in Arab cinema and what to expect in the future. This panel will take place at AMC Mazza Gallerie.

AGSIW also supports the Arabian Sights Film Festival by sponsoring this year’s Cultural Ambassador Prize for selected films that deserve increased recognition.
