Understanding Youth and Women’s Employment in Saudi Arabia

Alessandra L. González shared insights from her research on Saudi women’s employment in the kingdom.

Date

Sep 21, 2018

About the event

Saudi college graduates make up only 35 percent of the workforce and Saudi women of all education levels make up less than 15 percent. Amid the Saudi government’s effort to diversify the kingdom’s economy and increase the number of Saudi nationals in the workforce, how can the Saudi labor market benefit from the skills and talents of Saudi youth, and particularly young Saudi women?

Alessandra L. González shared insights from her research, and shed light on opportunities for understanding and improving youth and women’s employment in the kingdom.
