Book Talk With Walter Russell Mead: The Arc of a Covenant: The United States, Israel, and the Fate of the Jewish People

On September 14, AGSIW hosted a discussion with Walter Russell Mead on his new book and current U.S. policy in the Middle East.

Date

Sep 14, 2022

About the event

The groundbreaking new book The Arc of a Covenant: The United States, Israel, and the Fate of the Jewish People (Alfred A. Knopf, 2022) outlines the evolution of policy toward Israel, and much of the Middle East, throughout U.S. history. AGSIW is delighted to host a discussion with the book’s author, Walter Russell Mead, a leading historian of the political, social, and cultural factors that have shaped U.S. foreign policy formation. The conversation will also examine current U.S. policy in the Middle East more broadly, including toward the Gulf Arab countries, as well as the goals of the administration of President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and their prospects of success.

AGSIW hosted a discussion around this essential new publication.
