On November 16, AGSIW hosted a discussion with Bernard Haykel, professor of Near Eastern studies and director of the Institute for Transregional Study of the Contemporary Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia at Princeton University. The conversation took stock of the state of U.S.-Saudi relations and the latest social, political, and economic developments underway in Saudi Arabia. Kristin Smith Diwan moderated the discussion.
